WHAT WERE THE MAIN CHALLENGES?

At the time when digitalization is taking over every aspect of everyday business, the bank has decided to provide its clients with the best digital experience and be a strategic partner of digital business in the SME segment.

In many markets, including the Slovenian market, the SME client segment has been recognized to strongly represent the market diversity, and the challenges of providing a superb digital experience have been addressed with special care.

The objective was to provide a proven solution and at the same time to act as soon as possible, which often represents a challenge in bringing these aims together. The Covid-19 uncertainty and business challenges under limited access to regular obligations for SME clients were the motive to select a proven partner who can deliver top digital journey to each client, guarantee the stability and security of the solution, while following all ethical principles of Gorenjska Banka.

It was necessary to follow a rational approach while ensuring for inventiveness and reliability considering the uncertainty of the economy in the post-Covid environment.

Therefore, Gorenjska Banka decided to share this crucial task with ABC Tech Group, as a reliable and proven partner in the integration of the same or similar type of solutions, and a decision was made to implement a new mobile application for SME clients following the latest technological achievements.

WHAT WAS THE GOAL OF THE PROJECT?

Through business analysis of similar solutions and satisfaction analysis with the performance of mobile applications, it has been concluded that it is necessary to harmonize the needs of the “new” market with the expectations of the existing client base. To offer new options, provide simple and understandable functioning, raise the level of satisfaction and loyalty of clients were main objectives and determined to succeed we have started developing a new mobile solution.

In the development process, attention was paid to end-users and their experience of using the new mobile solution. Trust and reliability as one of the main concepts of the bank business model was a key guideline at all times, the bank could not accept any compromise and it was necessary to fulfill the concept in full scope.

In response to contemporary business trends, the application provides multiple user opportunities and is a modern and multi-useful business tool for each SME client. The clients of Gorenjska Banka have numerous banking services at their disposal 24/7 with only a few clicks, without visiting the bank or additional documentation.
